The C-BM/BM uses RG-6 coax with true 75 ohm BNC male connectors at each end, keeping the correct impedance from end to end. It has an 18 AWG solid bare copper centre conductor, skin foam dielectric and dual shielding, inside a dark grey PVC jacket 6.95 mm across. Kramer rates it for composite video, S-video, component, SDI, HD-SDI and 3G HD-SDI, AES-3id digital audio and sync signals, and states that it is tested to 3G. The same cable is made in lengths from 0.5 m up to 45.7 m for longer runs.
A 0.45 metre lead is sized for short patches: between devices in the same rack, from a camera to a nearby converter, or between a router and a monitor on a desk. Match the cable to the signal. For 3G-SDI at 1080p, a cable tested to 3G suits the link, while 12G-SDI for single-link 4K calls for cable rated for that bandwidth. Check that both devices have BNC sockets. SDI equipment uses BNC as standard, but many consumer devices use RCA for composite video and need an adapter. Avoid sharp bends and kinks, which can degrade the signal in coax.
