The ISO-130 stands sit between a speaker and the desk, shelf or console it rests on. IsoAcoustics designs them to isolate the monitor from that surface, so less vibration passes into the furniture. Each stand has a top 130 mm wide and 152 mm deep and supports up to 9 kg. Included tubes and spacers give 14 combinations of height and tilt, from 71 mm high at the lowest setting to 210 mm at the tallest, with up to 6.5 degrees of tilt. This lets you angle each monitor so its tweeter points at ear level from your listening position.
To choose, check your monitor's footprint and weight. The ISO-130 top suits small monitors and desktop speakers weighing up to 9 kg each, so measure the base of each speaker before ordering, since a cabinet much wider or deeper than the top will overhang it. Use a taller setting when monitors sit low on a desk and the tweeters would otherwise point at your chest, and add tilt when your listening position is close to the speakers. Set both stands the same way so the left and right monitors stay matched in height and angle, and keep them the same distance from the wall behind.
