About Genelec
Genelec lists the 8010 with a 76mm woofer and 19mm tweeter, each driven by its own 25 watt Class D amplifier. Frequency response runs from 67Hz to 25kHz within minus 6dB, and maximum output is 96dB SPL or more. The enclosure is die-cast aluminium, which keeps it rigid and compact at 1.5kg, and input is by balanced XLR. The small size suits close listening at a desk, in a mobile production setup or as a second reference pair beside larger monitors.
The 8010 is sold as a single speaker, so order two for stereo. Its bass extends to 67Hz, so for music mixing with deep low end, pair it with a Genelec subwoofer or check your mix on a larger system too. Use balanced XLR cables from your interface or monitor controller; an interface with 1/4 inch TRS outputs needs TRS to XLR leads. Place the monitors at ear height, forming an equilateral triangle with your listening position. Genelec gives a two year warranty, extended by three years when registered on MyGenelec.

No. The 8010 we stock is sold as a single monitor, so order two for a stereo pair. For surround or immersive monitoring you can add more units. Each monitor has its own amplifiers and needs its own power and balanced XLR input.
